We are a grassroots, volunteer-run group of neighbors who are trying to finally fix the pedestrian safety and comfort issues on Austin Street in Forest Hills, NY.

Speak with anyone in the neighborhood about Austin Street, and you’ll hear a lot of different opinions on what is wrong with it. But everyone agrees on something: it sucks being a pedestrian there. That is why we started this group: to finally fix Austin Street. We are asking the New York City Department of Transportation to study Austin Street, focusing on pedestrian safety and comfort.
